Project Description: The GLIDE project is an ocean monitoring program using autonomous underwater gliders to establish baseline oceanographic and ecological datasets to inform responsible development of offshore wind in New York Bight wind lease blocks. The gliders usually carry a CTD, a Seabird Scientific ECO triplet fluorescence/backscatter/chlorophyll-a sensor, an Aanderaa dissolved oxygen sensor, and passive acoustics.
