Project Description: The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) maintains an array of Vemco receivers in Long Island Sound and lower Connecticut River to help understand movements and distribution patterns of telemetered Atlantic Sturgeon, as well as assisting other researchers with local movements of their telemetered species. CT DEEP implants Tranmitters into Atlantic and Shortnose Sturgeon.
