Project Description: This was a cooperative project between between Stony Brook University and Equinor Wind US LLC with the goal of deploying acoustic receivers during the site assessment phase of pre-construction in the Empire Wind New York Lease Area (NYLA; Lease OCS-A 0512). This allowed for the deployment of up to 4 stations with VR2Tx receivers from December 2018 through November 2020 in offshore waters of the New York Bight.
