Project Description: The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center collaborates with the National Data Buoy Center, University North Carolina - Wilmington and Coastal Carolina to deploy an array of VR2W acoustic receivers in Onslow Bay and Frying Pan Shoals. This array provides crucial migration data to researchers studying highly migratory species in the Atlantic.
