Project Description: As part of Revolution Wind, a submersible cable will enter Rhode Island state waters and land at Quonset Point. This project aims to deploy acoustic receivers along the cable route within state waters (Rhode Island Sound and the West Passage of Narragansett Bay) to understand which species may be utilizing the cable corridor before, during, and after installation. These deployments are part of a lobster and crab ventless trap survey also conducted along the cable route.
