Project Description: The Nature Conservancy - Virginia has teamed up with the NY Department of Environmental Conservation and Virginia Commonwealth University to tag adult and sub-adult Atlantic sturgeon in the Hudson River and the Chesapeake Bay (and its tributaries). Our goal is to contribute to the ongoing coast-wide tagging effort of this protected species, with an eye towards informing EFH / FHOC delineations especially with respect to offshore wind.
