Project Description: This project's primary focus is the use of an instrumented bottom lander platform containing an upward looking, multifrequency echosounder to assess zooplankton and fish abundances in the waters SE of Block Island. As part of the lander recovery system, we use an Innovasea acoustic release / receiver so we are uploading detections this receive picks up. Nominal receiver location is 50 m water depth, lat = 40.99498 N, lon = 71.22058 W

Objectives:

Tag detections are a bonus contribution of our project to other researchers.
