Project Description: Maine Department of Marine Resources deploys and monitors an acoustic array in Merrymeeting Bay and the Kennebec River. Maine DMR continues to tag striped bass to monitor for "native" populations and has tagged both Atlantic and short nosed sturgeon in the past. Maine DMR has partnered with several other agencies in other tagging projects for multiple sea run species.

Objectives:

Monitor migratory and residence behavior of diadromous species in the greater Kennebec drainage.
