Project Title: An Analysis of Migration Timing and Habitat Utilization Across Sexes of Atlantic Sharpnose Shark

Project Description: The majority of research on Atlantic sharpnose sharks occurs in the Gulf of Mexico, specifically with many of the diet, movement, habitat use, and reproduction studies taking place in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. This has led to a gap in the literature when it comes to the Atlantic stock of Atlantic sharpnose sharks. Atlantic sharpnose sharks will be acoustically tagged, and the data will be used to asses differences in migration timing and habitat utilization between males and females.
