Project Description: Characterize behaviors and habitat use of Atlantic Sturgeon in the Rockaway Aggregation Area (RAA); estimate unique foraging resources of this area; determine the energy pathways and nutritional importance of forage resources in the RAA; and compare these traits to the rest of the New York coast where Atlantic sturgeon are known to actively migrate, with the hopes of designating distinct population segments for use in assessments and management.
